Yep, I'll keep this one short.Tonight during a break, after my partner and I stumbled through our scene several times (surprisingly, I did decently for remembering my lines), I was in an elevator the the TA, and he asked me if I'd ever considered a career in theatre.
I told sure, as much as anyone might. You know, everyone wants to be a star and all that.
And he says I should really consider it, because I definitely have "a presence on stage. A certain something that draws people in."
Getting out of the elevator, I say, "Yeah, I also have a helluva lot of stage fright." (Yes, very modest of me.)
To which he responds, "That's an unlearned thing."
Maybe it was "unlearn"? Either way, what the hell does that mean?
