I only mention this because I have not yet. As far as it goes, it obviously would not be all kinds of porn. For the uninitiated out there, I think there's probably enough porn in the world that if you started reading/viewing now, you'd still be no where close to having viewed it all once by the time you died.

There's a lot of porn in the world, and a lot of bizarre porn, too. Human desire is very strong and particularly individual. Myself, rather thankful not to have any real notable fetishes. That is, in a world where I'd consider ... say, light bondage play ... as the lowest level of even bothering to refer to as a fetish -- yeah, I pretty much don't have any, then.

But nonetheless, even staying nicely within the realms of no one being caused any real sort of damage (well, at least lasting damage), there's still quite a variation of what people like to do, would like to do, and enjoy fantasizing about.

And porn is all about fantasy, right? It certainly isn't reality. Nope, I say that any porn that anyone has ever enjoyed has been an accurate enough (or general enough) fantasy for that person to reasonably think of it in terms of their own desires.

To give a general example: A lot of guys are really into boobs. But, though a general appreciation of breasts can usually be assumed, at least on an aesthetical level most men definitely have a preference as far as what they consider appealing. That is to say, guys who like more slender or boyish kinda women probably prefers porn/fantasy with small breasts ... likewise, guys who just want lots of soft curvy female flesh would probably prefer stuff with big boobs. And yet, even seperate from those two -- there's this whole weird thing where strippers or porn stars will get these gigantically huge like -- basketball size or larger breasts. And while I would guess most men couldn't really be too into that, since it's so impossibly unnatural, obviously there must be plenty who are, because those women are making a living somehow.

Well, as it happens (and as it may be hard to believe after all that) I'm not generally too breast-centered in my desire or my porn. I mean, as I said above I think pretty much everybody has to have some kind of appreciation for boobs in general. And, as I'm a heterosexual guy, a nice pair of breasts generally does win my affection easily enough.

But, in my own opinion size is an inadequate approximation of if a particular chest is appealing to me or not. Nah, it's a particular aesthetic thing...

But I'm digressing again. The fact is, for all that I love and lust after the female form in all it's infinite variations, I don't think I base my concept of good porn on the display of a hot body. Sure, it helps. But really, there's a concept we must go for first, if it's to actually be hot -- I mean, I've scene some scenes actually broadcasted on television, where pretty much it was all in actors eyes and faces and the characters/plot...

You know, I should point out in all this that I consider some romance novels porn, really. I mean, it's erotica in the least, and what is erotica but porn for people who are apparently above the term? I've flipped through a few romance novels in my day, and some of them can get pretty graphic in their descriptions.

But again -- graphic, for myself, does not by itself guarantee fire. Nah, fantasy for me has to be something a little more cerebral.

So ... oh, y'know -- I just gotta say, if you really, actually don't like any kinda porn, not even "erotic novels" -- wow, bit repressed are ya? Ya know, "the mind is the largest sexual organ" and all that, but I won't preach at ya.

What I will do is ask -- anybody feel like describing their porn collection? Or just what their particular quirks are, in fantasy sex?
